DCP(DICUMYL PEROXIDE) CAS No. 80-43-3 DCP99% Empirical Formula C6H5C(CH3)00(CH3)2C C6H5 Molecular Weight 270.37 Appearance White Crystalline Powder Specific Gravity 1.012 25/250 ℃ Peroxide Assay 99.0% min Melting Point 38 ℃ Active Oxygen 5.8% Half-life vs Temperature 116 ℃ /10hr 171 ℃ /1min Solubility Soluble in organic solvents. Synthetic & natural rubber, polyester resins.. etc. insoluble in water. DCP 40C DicumylPeroxide 40% on Calcium Carbonate Calcium carbonate is as an inert substance in the formula of the crosslinking reagent. It also is a substance to prevent the ph value of crosslinking reagent large than 7. it can retard the DCP decomposition. It can help the DCP dispersing when DCP disperse into the rubber as a crosslinking reagent as well. DCP 40KE DicumylPeroxide 40% on Keclay Peroxide Assay 39-41% Appearance White Powder Density 40/400C 0.997-1.009mg/M3 Active Oxygen 2.3% min Flash Point 121℃(250℉) Refractive Index at 400C 1.5279-1.5295 Viscosity at 400C 10.7-12.7 cps Applications 1.Cross linking agent for EVA foam. When cross-linked by DCP, the foamed EVA possesses special properties better than that of other foamed materials in lightweight, coloration and abrasion-resistance. It has become as an essential ingredient for making sandals, slippers and shoe soles. 2.Cross linking agent for polyethylene insulated electric cable (XLPE cable) In the production of insulated electric cables, polyethylene after cross-linked by DCP, can resist high temperature caused by electric current in the wire. It has become a very important material in the field of wire and cable. 3.Vulcanizing agent for EPR & EPT. ERP & EPT are newly developed synthetic rubbers which have given indication of sufficient quality to merit careful consideration for wire and cable coating and conveyor belts. EPR cannot be cured by sulfur, however can be efficiently cured by DCP or other organic peroxides. DCP becomes a necessity in improving the heat resistance capability of EPT. Packing DCP 99% 16MT/FCL(20KG/CARTON) DCP 40C 13.5MT/FCL DCP 40KE 13.5MT/FCL 5kg/bag 4 bags are put in one carton. Others MSDS information: Class :5.2 UN No. :3110 IMCO No. :5230 H.S.
